Do you work with charities of all sizes?
Yes, we work with registered charities of all sizes. One of the benefits of the Blue Sea way is that smaller charities can fundraise BIG. You need a $20,000 goal, an engaged team, and someone to dedicate 5+ hours per week to leading the campaign.
How does Blue Sea make money?
We provide the event and campaign Guide, group and individual coaching, website and marketing materials, payment processing, charitable receipts, sponsor invoicing and follow-ups, customer service for all stakeholders, swag and event signage, and more. In exchange, we keep a small percentage of the funds raised by each charity. We provide everything a charity partner needs to successfully host one of our fundraising events.
The payout grid accelerates as charities fundraise – the more they raise, the higher the payout percentage. Payouts range from 70% to 85% of total funds including all donation and sponsorship revenue.
Is Blue Sea a third-party fundraising company?
We’re not a third-party fundraising company – we’re a charity, a federally-registered Canadian foundation that facilitates charity fundraising through our national turn-key events, coaching, and administrative support, at an attractive economy of scale.
