Since 2004, Blue Sea events have helped 1000’s of local charities raise millions of dollars to amplify their work and impact across North America. In 2022, Blue Sea expanded into the USA to partner with hardworking social services charities. Together, we’ve achieved:

The Blue Sea Partner Grant Program
Blue Sea is a granting foundation…with a twist.
Unlike regular foundations, we have no large, legacy endowment that supports traditional grant applications. We issue grants for nonprofit organizations through our unique Partner Grant Program, and we consider those grants to be “earned” by participation in Blue Sea events.
How It Works
Local charity applies to host Blue Sea peer-to-peer fundraising event
The charity is trained, coached, and managed the Blue Sea way
Charity hosts successful P2P event (And raises lots of money!)
Blue Sea issues earned grant for between 70% and 85% depending on final amount raised 60 days after
Charity invests the money as applied for and reports to Blue Sea
Through approval and participation in one (or more) of our national peer-to-peer fundraising events, social service charities can earn their grant through successful recruiting and fundraising efforts. The more successful a partner charity, the larger their “earned grant.”
The Blue Sea way of P2P fundraising has provided partners with a reliable return on investment, an engaged community of support, greater awareness, and valuable knowledge of events and fundraising.
